The bike

In Denmark we are known for our bicycles, everyone rides a bicycle, and 1 in 3 ride it to work, and more than half the population in Copenhagen ride it to work. We love our bicycles, and most of the times is it actually easier to ride you bicycle than to take a bus or a train. If you ask Danes why they take their bike a small part of them would say: ‘to safe the environment’ – ‘because it is cheap’ – ‘because it is healthy’ but all of us bicyclists would agree that it is the easiest. In Denmark we have special bicycle paths so we are not in contact with the cars, busses, or other vehicles, I think that it is amazing, so you do not have to worry all the time. In London I have not been using my bicycle that often, mostly in the park or just to do grocery shopping. I started using my bicycle when I got home, and it is crazy how it is easier just to have your bicycle, and I ride it almost everywhere! πŸ˜€ I ride it at least 15miles a day, that includes to and from work, and then other small errands.

The other day I was with a friend at a cafe just chillin’, playing cards, and drinking tea. On the way home I rode my bicycle and she took the bus, and at my house I had to wait for her at the bus stop. Funny how a bicycle is faster than a bus πŸ™‚ Copenhagenization is the future of traveling around your city, hopefully. πŸ™‚
